How to choose
Choose diagnostics when a warning light is on, or the car is behaving differently and you want the fault read before parts are bought. Choose repairs when you already know the kind of mechanical work, such as brakes, a belt, a hose, a fluid, cooling, charging, or some suspension and steering work, and you want it assessed where the car sits.
Choose logbook and general servicing when a scheduled service is due, or you want the fluids, filters and a safety check without a workshop drop-off. Choose battery testing and replacement when the car is slow to crank, has gone flat, or is showing a battery or charging light. The test comes before a battery is fitted.
What a visit can and cannot be
Work is done at your place when the car is on level ground and there is room to work safely. A hoist, a wheel-alignment rack, major internal engine or transmission repairs, and anything unsafe roadside are workshop jobs. We say so before work starts, rather than starting a job that cannot be finished there.
You tell us the car and the issue. We call during business hours with a figure. No work starts until you approve it. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:00pm, Sat 8:00am-2:00pm, Sun closed.
